idolsonas group/project scouting and why they are harmful!

for those of you wondering, idolsona projects are when groups of people make oc groups for 'idol games' (love live, bandori, pjsekai, etc.) and edit cards. these groups usually go through scouting and will have to reject a large amount of peoplethe problem is, yup, you guessed it, the constant rejections. the admins will often only accept the ones from their friends or from people who are popular in the communityso many people go through hours of hard work to create their oc, and when they're rejected, it all feels like you did all this work for nothing. plus, people usually create their ocs SPECIFICALLY for the project. so it's hard to reuse them.i was recently rejected from a vtuber themed ll group in which i spent HOURS making my oc. i loved her so much only to be rejected. i was only rejected because im not very popular in the community. i always get rejected. i feel like im never going to get accepted and its because im unpopular. well i cant even make interactions if i dont get accepted into a project, hmm? thank god i got rejected though, i heard one of the people who got accepted was a p3d0...i also had a mental breakdown over that project :// and i even got close to shreally, the only way to fix all of these broken feelings is to either just
- accept everyone! the more the merrier!
- just dont make idolsona projects at all. better if no ones having fun than if a group of people are having fun and the rest are being excluded
tldr: idolsona scoutings are harmful because the rejections cause mental breakdowns
